Indoor Seed Starting
Itching to get your hands in the soil? Join our gardener Robin Tench as she demonstrates when to start your seeds, which varieties to start indoors, where to grow (lamps vs. windowsills) and what supplies you will need.
Starting your own plants from seed is one of the most satisfying and economical ways to grow your garden and containers! Exciting varieties are available from local growers, seed catalogues, and garden centres.
If you have seeds to share, please bring them along for our SEED SWAP!
This program is designed for adults, however children may accompany you for an additional $5.

Dryer Ball Workshop
Are you interested in helping the environment, and looking to save energy?
Join us at the Earthbound farm as we learn how to make our own sheep’s wool dryer balls. Not only are they better for the environment than disposable synthetic dryer sheets, they will also cut down on the drying times of your laundry loads, therefore saving you money on hydro costs.
Make a set for yourself, or as a gift for a friend or family member. All materials provided.
