The natural way to
learn about nature

Earthbound Kids Kids welcomes students to the Earthbound Kids tree farm to learn about the importance of trees to the earth, animals and people. Students will get a first hand look at how trees clean the air and water, prevent soil erosion and support biodiversity of the forest ecosystem. Earthbound Kids is a member of the Ontario Forestry Association and works with elementary school educators to present activities from within their Focus On Forests’ Forest Ecosystem Lesson Plan. Along with our partners, at Green Thumbs Growing Kids we offer opportunities for students (K -8) to participate in hands-on food growing, food preparation and environmental education programs, linked to the Ontario curriculum.
We also invite students to take David Suzuki’s Nature Challenge here at Earthbound Kids Kids. Using this curriculum, kids actually see the benefits of making earth friendly choices. Download a copy of the Nature Challenge Teacher’s Guide.
If you have your own idea for a great field trip, give us a call and we can hopefully facilitate your ideas!
