Kids need active play as well as time to just chill. Within a balanced day they also need choice…choice to do the things they love to do. Camp Treetop offers a variety of daily options including:

Sports: beach volleyball, soccer, basketball, floor hockey, horseback riding and biking

Free to be

At Camp Treetop we believe that free play is an important part of a child’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. Therefore, we provide plenty of time for free choice activities and exploration. Our free-play areas have been designed by renowned designer, Adam Bienenstock, a leader in the emerging trend of natural playgrounds. Our playscapes feature:

Natural elements of the forest including trees, fallen logs, creative landforms and meandering pathways to inspire curiosity and a sense of freedom
Shaded play areas as well as slides and climbing structures that have been built into the land’s contours (reduced fall heights mean improved safety over traditional playground structures)
Open ended play options such as an outdoor stage and “bear -cave” to promote creativity and use of imagination

There is comfort in consistency. For kids, a regular routine makes new experiences, like camp, safe. That’s why, each morning, everyone gets together at their home base.

Then, throughout the day, kids venture out into the other great areas of the camp such as our:
